Rotary Yard Sale Raises Civic Centre Funds - Posted on 2008-09-30

Rotarians, friends and die hard yard-salers turned out in wet weather on Saturday, Sept. 27 for the 2nd Annual Rotary Bazaar and Yard Sale in St. Stephen, an event which left smiles on the faces of Norah Heelis, left, co-chair of the Charlotte County Civic Centre Fundraising Campaign, and Dorothy Devlin, Rotary Past President and co-chair of the sale, which was held to raise funds for the proposed Civic Centre.
Despite the rainy weather, the Rotary Club raised over $700 towards honouring their $100,000 pledge.
