Financing the Charlotte County Civic Centre

Appealing for a Multi-Level Show of Support
The total cost of establishing the new Civic Centre is estimated to be in the order of $15 million. To date, the Town of St. Stephen has pledged $2.1 million towards the realization of the project. For their part, the federal and provincial governments are expected to show their support with contributions of approximately $4.7 million each. In order to obtain the balance of the financial resources required, the project coordinating committee has decided to embark on a major fund-raising campaign, with the target fixed at $3.5 million.
